Josh Egan began his Finance career in 2001 as a 19-year-old working in the family Mortgage Broking business in the Gippsland Region. Josh gained a solid foundation in lending principles, delivering good service and the importance of understanding clients, which continues to form the cornerstone of his approach to dealing with his clients.
Today, Josh has 2 offices, St Kilda Rd Melbourne, and Traralgon in the Latrobe Valley Region of Gippsland, employing 18 staff. Josh proudly offers a diverse range of services and products that enable him to assist his clients in numerous aspects of their financial position.
Whilst his core business is Residential Lending, he also offers Commercial and Equipment Finance, General, Business and Health Insurances while also offering broader financial advice, including superannuation, investing, personal insurances and much more. This diversity allows Josh to deliver holistic and ‘whole of client’ advice and services. He gets to know his clients, not just by understanding their financial situation but by also exploring their personal goals and objectives!
Josh Egan’s reputation for professionalism, honesty, business ethics and looking after customers’ needs is recognized not only in the Astute business but also by his peers and the Lenders he deals with!

Josh and partner Angela welcomed a baby son in March 2020 and his interests include. Cooking, running, personal fitness, tennis, basketball and most sports. Josh is an avid AFL supporter, having followed the Hawks since childhood.
